Very nice level sites with rocking chairs and table! Wonderful staff and great fried chicken place on site. The new shower facilities are some of the best we have seen in any Rv park or even some resorts! Only downside was the traffic noise but once the sun went down it dropped to almost nothing so no problem sleeping. Would recommend if in area.

We decided to stay over night on our way to Northern Idaho. Campground is actually very nice. Fairly level pull through spot. We had water and 50 amp service. However we could not dump into the site sewer. They had an out of service sign over the hole. But you could dump your tanks at their dump station. It was no big deal. Would stay here again. The staff was awesome.

Nice campground with pretty level dirt sites with concrete pads for table and ours was supplied with two rocking chairs in addition to the standard picnic table.
No cable but can pick up local TV. Propane fill up available. Chicken from Chicken Shack on site restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Helpful and friendly staff.

Nice staff worked with us to get a site we liked. Ended up with upgraded site with nice patio and firepit. Gravel sites, easy hookups. Easy access and level, although not many trees. Well cared for park. Exceptionally clean restrooms and showers.

It was nice enough for an overnight stay. Located pretty close to the interstate and the sites are really close together. Not a lot of shade.
Staff were friendly and helpful. You need to ask for a fire pit if you want one but they’ll bring it promptly.
Right next to a hiking/bike path and the tourist information center which looked like it offered trolley tours of the town.

If it weren't for the walking/biking trail system, this campground would have gotten a two-star review.
Service not nearly as friendly as other KOAs. Asked for a shaded site when we came in and was told there was very little shade in the campground. When we drive in, there were all kinds of sites with trees, unoccupied. First disappointment. Gravel site was sort of level but narrow "grass strip" was not at all.
There isn't anything to look at in the campground when sitting around, except for other campers. And for some reason, they didn't seem to be as friendly as those in the other KOAs either.
Butte is a neat town but we won't stay here again. Oh, and don't order the fish at the Chicken Shack. I threw mine away.

Great for an overnight. Easy check in, gravel site. Chamber visitors center is right next door. Nice walkway to walk the dogs. Interesting town. Would stay here again.

I've never posted before, but I have to give the new owners of Butte KOA sincere congratulations for turning this RV Park around! "Well done, Tom". It definitely would win for " most improved campground "! We stayed here once when it was run buy previous owner and that was an awful experience. Our current overnight stay, July 21, 2016, has been a totally positive experience. The entrance landscaping is inviting and attractive. The entire park is clean. Customer service could not be better. Gravel sites are easily accessible and reasonably level. Owners assured us they were working to make it even better. Great overnight stop between Grand Tetons and Glacier National Parks. Oh yes, and then there is the Chicken Shack on property ---- Yum!

We stopped for an overnight and ended up staying three nights. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I understand it has recently changed ownership and has been undated. The restrooms were clean and the historic town of Butte was enjoyable to explore.

Would agree with other reviewer. Not as attractive as most koas and wifi doesn't work. Entered code twice and said wasn't right code and it was entered exactly as given to us.
