Beautiful little National Forest campground! Perfect for a longer overnight! I stayed 10/29/2017. Arrived in the dark of late evening and almost missed sign on other side of highway from my direction of travel. But easy to get around campground in dark.

This forest service campground is a real gem. Located at a convenient point along desolate hwy 212, it is an oasis urging to stop the car and call it a day. There are a few sites long enough for most 5vers if your back-in skill is decent. Didnt see any mosquitoes or snakes when I was here in late June, so I got in a long hike with my dog without much worry. These sites are located within shady pines, have pit toilets, firerings, and were very clean. Another nice point is the campground is just several hundred yards away from the highway in the trees. It was pretty quiet at night, but quite a bit of truck traffic noise during the day.

Beautiful spot and awesome vistas! We love boondocking and this was a quiet location with only two other campers in the park. Great distances between sites which include iron grills and picnic tables. No highway noise in our loop. We're in a 24' class C with a tow vehicle. Back- in sites; we unhooked, had to level out and had plenty of room for both in our site.

Quiet , dry camp site.
4 spots big enough for 34ft travel trailer.
Camp sites not flat but not to bad.
Coyotes yelped a few times at night.
Sheriff made rounds each night.
Nice view from 2 rear sites on north east end of camp.
