Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Very quiet. Staff are exceptional. A little tight for big rigs not unlike most RV parks. Nice area to let your pooch off leash. Very close to Nevada and Virginia City. We found it a bit far from hot springs in Bozeman and visits to Yellowstone (1 1/2 hrs from West Gate, 2 1/2 hrs from Old Faithful) making for very long day trips.

Wonderful park. No longer a KOA. Very nice owner. We were here in early November. Very quiet. I did not use the showers or laundry.

What a nice KOA campground. The grounds were very clean and well kept. Our space was very nice, overlooking a pond where we could watch a family of geese. We were traveling as a group of five campers so were located close together where we were able to eat together and have evening campfires.

During the time that part of the group was at Yellowstone, a violent wind storm came up. The manager and staff were concerned for the safety of our group who were camped in a tent under a tree. They came and said they were going to put that family in one of the cabins, so there wouldn't be a limb fall on them.
Very thoughtful, Thank you.

At all times during our stay the staff was offering assistance and were very friendly. We also thank them for telling us about the I-15 route back to !-90. It really made the trip easier on us and the vehicle.

We are glad we picked this KOA due to it's location, near Virginia City and close to both entrances of Yellowstone.

Thank you to all of the staff at Alder. We will be back if we are in that area again. Jack and June; Anita and David Ptacek
