Easy to find and close to the interstate for an overnight stay. We did not have a reservation but found a mostly level 30 amp site. Unable to use the pool or bathrooms because no prior reservation and key code. We tried to pay in the morning at 8 but no one in the office. Told us to call the hotel and left a message to pay. Would stop again.

This is our second time at Ameristar and the staff was great both times. However we must have lucked out the first time on getting a level site because this time it was worse. The coach managed without using blocks, but just barely. Good ole HWH. The closer to the office the worse it is. The pull thru site was not large enough to stay hooked up...and barely large enough to park in front of the 40' coach sideways. Steady electricity and good water pressure. There is a shuttle to the casino if needed, and security patrols often Price was in the low 30s.

Called ahead to reserve a spot for a Saturday evening. Pulled in early and it was fairly empty but by later it really filled up. We had no problem leveling. Clean and well up kept. We heard the train a couple of times but it was early. Area is patrolled by security staff. Free shuttle to casino from and back to your space at the campground. All staff were super friendly. Paved spaces. We are in a 42' 5th Wheel. Had to unhook because of our length. We are 60' with the dually and space is very close to that. Fuel prices are very low close by. Would stay here again. Very convenient to the interstate.

Very nice RV park, clean no well maintained.the site we had wasn't that level but posed no problem getting our fifth wheel lined out. Easy to get in and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this park if you are ever in the area.

As with most others, very friendly staff and nice campground. However, sites are not level and are rather narrow. The biggest problem we had was the very active train tracks running right behind the park. Also the map of the campground shows a playground, but no such thing exists. Many others may not care, but we have 2 small kids and stopped for the night. Don't think we'll be staying here again.

Very nice park except sites are not level. Tried 7 times at three different sites to get our my level. Every attempt resulted in rear tires being 3 to 6 inches off the ground. Finally found a level site but it is only 30 amp. At least we are level with all tires on the ground and leveling Jack's lowered. Will not stay here again!

Wonderful people! Very helpful staff, plenty of security driving around, nice cement pads, we stayed here in a 40ft 5th wheel ? plenty of parking room, security lights were great. There were several full-timers here working the casino but the campground was clean. Will defiantly stay here again.

Really nice stop over. Clean. Booking was easy. Staff very nice. Reasonable rates. Quiet - very little road noise-train passed twice while we were there - but not after 9 pm. Lots of easily accessible trash cans. Pull through lots. Concrete. Picnic table at lot. Sewer connection at very end of lot which was fine for us. Stayed in 33' motor home lot was long enough for us. Getting in and out of park was easy. Didn't use their cable or wifi. Pool was closed for season (end of October when we stayed). Security patrolled every 15 minutes. Shuttle to casino passed frequently. Lots of area to walk dogs - bring your own poop bags. Will use again for stop over.

Decent park, but some problems. Sites are very short and narrow. We have a 35' 5th wheel. With the trailer right at the edge of the road, there was not enough length to park the truck straight in the site after we unhitched. Our site was NOT level and the concrete pad was badly broken. We used a full set of leveling blocks under each of the back jacks. Also used two extensions on the sewer hose. Pool closes when the office closes (5:00 Saturday night).

As previously mentioned friendly staff, decent location, quiet park at least while we where there on a Thursday/Friday. Pool closes at 6:30 and laundry consist of only 2 w/d. Shuttles to casino quick and courteous. Didn't try the buffet in Casino but looked good with a decent variety and clean. We did eat in the cafe/bar there and it was really good. Would stay here again when coming through this way.
