The campground is ok level pad, water, electricity. The road leading to the campground is closed and in horrible condition. I would not recommend going until the road is fixed

The campground seems very neglected. The 30 amp connection didn’t work at our site, the grill was missing, and the concrete pad was half covered with mud. The nature trail was nonexistent, the disc golf course was overgrown, and the campground in general seemed tired. The bathhouse however was clean. There were several park services vehicles at the office, but I didn’t see the workers on the grounds tending to the things needing care.

We were in Campground B, site 35. Paved pad, but probably the worst site in Campground B. The water hookup from the site above us leaked downhill into our firepit. 50 Amp and water. Long drive into the park past some abandoned homes, but once at the campground, very attractive. 20 minute drive to Natchez with some interesting historical sights. Verizon was ok, TMobile did not work. Only 2 rangers work the entire park.

Stayed one night in last available spot campground B site 29. Just off Natchez Trace Parkway. Concrete pads, good spacing between sites. Nice wooded campground. Bathrooms clean. Our site 29 was downhill from site 27 which had a leaking water faucet. By morning water had flooded our site up to our steps, had to dance around mud and water to unhook.

We stayed in campground B, which has level paved sites, showers are good, everything we expected, except the laundry was not available because the dry was out of order.

Pros: concrete pads, small quiet campground, bathhouse and laundry we're in good condition and fairly clean.
Cons: road in is windy and narrow, and the locals drive fast and down the middle! Some sites have steep drop offs, woods are sense and obscure view of the lake.

Closely located to beautiful Natchez. Only two pull throughs.
Bathhouse was dirty.

Quiet, showers, laundry, campground B has paved sites...if you want a pull-through (only two here) and are a long rig choose #43, other sites appear level.

Very nice campground by the lake. Level concrete pads. We had a electric and water site. We drove in and were able to get a site in March. The signs say you can now reserve online so I would do that in the future. State campground so it is very affordable. Would definitely stay here again.

Not impressed. We drove in off the Natchez Trace parkway, followed the signs to campground A, there was a barrel on the road as if there was some road work going on, NO SIGNS. We stopped and read the rules and registration board, NO SIGNS. Picked a site, set up. There weren't any other campers there, but not the first-time we've been the only campers in a loop. 15 minutes later the manager knocks on our door to say this loop is closed and that there was a SIGN saying so. NO, THERE WAS NOT a sign anywhere on the road to the campground, at the entrance to the loop, or on the info board. We would not have entered the loop, never mind set our rig up. Rather frustrating. If a loop is closed make it obvious.
