Campground is closed at the moment but should open next month. We camped in the overflow area for $20. Elec and water included. New prices for the revamped campground are $57/67 a night! That鈥檚 waaaaaaay overpriced for what you get. They鈥檝e priced themselves out of the market.

Have stayed here twice, both pleasant experiences. Lakeside sites, both level. Well-spaced sites, hiking trails, quiet park, friendly personnel. Old park, so roads are old and narrow. At half the sites, the picnic tables are on the wrong side, so if you really want to use it that could be an annoyance. Full hookups, convenient and easy to use sewer placement. The bathhouse is clean, no mold, hot water, heated facility, but very basic. I like this 芒鈧渙ld芒鈧劉 campground better that the CCC campground across the lake.

Easy access off Route 20. We stayed in the original loop (30 amp service). We hoped for a relatively level spot for a one night stop and found the lakeside spots wouldn芒鈧劉t work. Ended up in site #36. Nice campground with some hiking/walking trails. Didn芒鈧劉t use shower house. Would definitely stop again and explore the area more.

Nice state park with easy access from I-20. earlier reviews on roads are accurate, however we were in a van so very easy to access. The update from previous reviews is that the bathrooms were very clean and the shower was hot. Would stop there again.

It's a beautiful forested park. We were in the RO Hannah loop which is in the older part. Big rigs will be difficult to maneuver here. We had booked site 1 but were unable to back our 39' 5er in since there simply was no room, had to move to Site 3 which fortunately wasn't booked, and it was still difficult. The roads are very narrow, sites #s 1 through 6 on the lake side are very sloped and have steep drop-offs on both sides of the pad. We never were able to get the rig completely level, fortunately we were only there overnight so that didn't matter. But now we know which sites to avoid we'd definitely return for another longer stay.

Great park. We stayed on the old side and sites were nicely spaced. Many amenities in the park but a lot closed due to COVID. That didn芒鈧劉t bother us at all as we just enjoyed being outside in the trees and watching lightening bugs. Would definitely come back and stay longer.

We stayed in the old campground due to less crowding. The 芒鈧搉ew芒鈧 side is closer to the water but sites really close together. We stayed in #23, only planned on one night but enjoyed the area so much, ended up staying an extra night. The park was clean and very clean. We didn芒鈧劉t use the bathrooms and bath houses bc they were closed. We would love to come back when everything is open!

We stayed here 4 nights. Arrived at night and couldn芒鈧劉t see any site numbers they are on side of electric boxes). Passed a park employee who was very nice and led us to site 10 which was easy enough to back into but downslopping. Generous sites with wooded views. We could easily see the water. Our 28芒鈧劉 trailer fit fine. There was steep drop off on sides of road getting in campground. Common area nearby had 2 pool tables and an air hockey table so bring quarters. Close to baseball diamond, flat area for frisbee throwing. We had three bars signal strength on Verizon. Got weak WiFi at the MacDonalds 7 min away when we needed it. Great location 30 min from Jackson on freeway. Bathrooms were older and just okay clean which is why only 4 stars. We芒鈧劉d stay there again.
