Very pretty, but tired old State Park. This place desperately needs some money to be spent on it, like all MS State Parks. Lots of sites have very steep drop-offs. The roads are narrow and windy. I would be afraid to take my 39’ fifth wheel here. I think you could get into spots where the only way out would be to back out the way you came in.

No camp store! That took at least one star off if not two right off the bat. Especially since there is not a nearby store. Otherwise it was probably a 4-star. Many of the campsites pads fall off quickly, leaving little room to lounge without going down the hill. Most sites are decent sized otherwise. No TV service and spotty cell service. Appears to be more of a park more for folks with fishing boats than those just looking to hang out at the campsite.

These campsites are very hilly. If you are not comfortable driving your rig through tight, windy roads you may want to pass. We did see some fifth wheels and Class As that were easily able to navigate. But the campsites were smaller than I prefer. You extend your awning and it is literally on the edge of your campsite. But it is clean, full hookup, safe, cheaper playground, no beach. I probably won’t stay here again but it is nice if you want somewhere quiet to get away with not much going on close by.

This is a very pleasant campground with lots of trees and located on a lake. The interior roadways are winding and narrow so if you're nervous about driving a big rig under those conditions, you might want to skip this park. All hookups worked fine but there is no wifi and cell phone service is very poor. There is a lodge, a pool, and mini golf in the park.
