Very quiet COE campground. The sites were somewhat close to each other but were spacious in themselves. Bathrooms were old and well used. The staff were great and did state the area will shut down for renovations the fall of 2024 and reopen for spring 2025. We stayed on site 27 and it had a slight slope but we were able to manage it without using ramps. We used the 50 amp service with no issues. The reservoir water was about 75’ from the site but not easily accessible. Many trails throughout to hike. Town was within minutes and had all types of restaurants and shopping, laundry, etc. there were nice asphalt bike paths that we used throughout the area. A very nice stay and we will return and look forward to the renovations. The local police were seen patrolling as well as the local ranger, seemed to be a well secured park.

Stayed one night Wednesday March 8, 2023. Lots of availability. Clean, quiet and scenic spot along the Tenn-Tom, with a great visitor center detailing the history of the Tenn-Tom.

Everything that has been said about what a great campground is true. We stayed at site 11. On the water. Set back from the park road and level. Beautiful. Helpful host. The Recreation.gov website was difficult to handle, but with the host help, we dit it. This was wonderful

Would have been perfect if not for all the dogs running loose and a host who witnessed it, but did not stop to say anything. We stepped in poop first thing, since we could not see it for all the fall leaves on the ground. Also, we could not enjoy much time outside with our pet on a leash, since both neighbors let theirs run loose, even into our site to pee and poop. Unreal! Otherwise, site#9 was perfect for our 43' Motorhome. Beautiful water views. There were even docks to use, where boats could be tied and with short paths to campsites. Dump station was clean and easy to use. Verizon was good, antenna TV also, but no satellite due to trees. Shorter rigs would love site 11, with water right behind site! When one neighbor in a class C left, another in about a 38' Class A backed right on in with just enough room for towed.

This is a very nice campground. Quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life but close enough to tourist attractions if you are interested. No sewer hookup but a dump station with 2 spots. Water and electric hookups worked fine. Site was concrete pad and pleasantly large enough to enjoy some privacy. Lots of trees and a big lake to enjoy with walking trails. No WiFi and difficult to get a satellite signal. OTA TV was fine. We would definitely stay here again.

Another excellent ACE campground. Site 49 was level and overlooks the Waterway. The only downside is the laundry room is closed due to Covid 19. We like the campground enough to extend our stay an additional day by moving to site 52 which we would have chosen first if we could have seen it originally.

We decided to camp here because others raved that this was a wonderful place, all I can say is you all haven’t experienced a nice COE Camp. This is NOT great!!! Go experience Old Hickory lake in Tennessee and you will see. We paid for 2 days but are leaving!

In our ten years camping, this is one of the nicest campgrounds we have been in. Beautifully laid out, quiet, clean and affordable. Very few other campers here in November of 2019. Verizon cell service was good.

Very nice campground. The sites are laid out conveniently so as to give the feeling of privacy. There is a paved walking trail from one end to the other that runs along the lake. Clean bathrooms with adequate showers. We did not have a reservation but walked up and luckily got a site on forth of July weekend. The couple that runs the checkin and serve as camp hosts are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Even though the park was completely full, it did not seem crowded by any means. $22.00 per night for electric and water site. Dump station on site. They even give you a large trash bag at check in. Very nice place. Will stay here again. P.S. Went swimming in the lake at the very nice beach area. Water was like bath water, very warm.
