Tom (owner/manager) operates an awesome Camping Park. Tom is very personable and helpful. We were lucky to come across this camp ground as we were on our way to South Dakota but the high winds were challenging for high vehicles so we decided to stop at Welcome, MN. Sure glade we did. If we ever travel I-90 in Minnesota we will be sure to check on availability to stay at Welcome Camp Ground

This is a lovely, little campground, not a lot to do here, almost non-existent town down the street. Most rigs are for workers on a local gas line project, but that’s no bother to us. They are quiet and everything is clean as can be. Level sites, all in the daily rental area are pull-thrus and level, grass between the spaces and mature trees with lots of shade. New picnic tables. Didn’t use laundry/bathrooms. Good wifis, even 5g. Just far enough off the freeway, which you can vaguely hear. New owner, with the old owners also here to help him with the transition. I would definitely call to make sure he has a place for you. I would definitely stop over here again. It can take big rigs

Perfect!! Great place to stop for an overnight. They put us in a pull thru, shady spot. Very neat campground. Looks redone; the sites are well organized and full hook ups. Easy off and on the 90. Would be a nice place to spend some restful days. We got there early enough that I could catch up on some laundry.

Great campground. Would definitely come back. They keep the buildings and grounds clean, and neat and have wonderful shade trees. Immaculate laundry room. It felt like a very quiet and rural place, yet was convenient to the highway. Friendly, efficient people and check-in process. Good wifi. Gas just down the road with a conscience store and soft serve ice cream. Walmart only 6 miles away with decent RV supply section.

Stayed 6 May 2021. Rate is with Passport America discount. Echoing other reviewers, this campground was perfect for a quick one night pitstop on our westbound journey towards Badlands National Park. Conveniently just far enough off I-90 that it is surprisingly & pleasantly quiet, we had a pull through site (lucky #13) with FHU. Reliable wi-fi connection. Bathhouse was clean and well maintained, even if showing age. Called ahead of time same day to make reservation. Be aware that they normally close the office at 8pm, but happily the staff accommodated our slightly tardy arrival (thank you!!!). Good place to have on one's radar if travelling the I-90 corridor in either direction. Would have liked to stay longer.

This is a nice small campground right off the highway. The lots are nice and level. There are trees but the owners do a great job keeping them trimmed so there will be no damage to your camper. Diane done a great job taking us to our site and lining us up with sewer and slide outs. We’ll be back.

Nice little campground. Only here one night, but would stay again if in the area. The laundry room was the cleanest I have been in this entire trip. (almost 3 months)

What a great campground Friendly desk staff, clean and spacious washrooms, clean and new laundry room, nice treed sites that are quite level, 8 stations on the air antenna and peaceful and quiet. We stopped on our way home for 1 night but could of stayed here a week. And quite reasonably priced at $29 a night for full serviced pullthru. Highly recommend.

Spacious and level pull-through sites with excellent wifi! We paid $22.00/day for 30 amp full hookups. Passport America said that the daily rate was $20.00, but an extra $2.00/day was no big deal. Clean restrooms with very small shower stalls. Laundry was cheap at $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry. Our only minor complaint was that the sewer connection was extremely high off the ground, so we had to prop up our hose to allow it to drain properly. Bring earplugs as a loud train blows its horn at 11:00pm each night and also in the early morning. Overall this was a great value for the money.
