Beautiful park and river front, very nice veteran memorial

Pretty little city park. True, the train is close but it was a pleasant place to be overall. They have some animal enclosures with peacocks, deer and bison! Clean and neat. The only problem we encountered was the fact that they were detouring the main traffic route past the campground. I’m sure it’s much quieter when that’s done.

We stayed in Sunnybrook Park for one night on our way west. The park is older but well maintained, surrounded by parks and has full hookups. Bathroom has decent showers, and there is a laundry facility onsite. The big drawback here is the 24 hour trains merely yards away. We ran our fan during the night to create white noise, but the train is close enough that the vibration can be felt inside the trailer. All in all it was okay, if it were the $$ we read in the description. However, it was a bit pricey for the actual cost of $34.
