This may be the most beautifully laid out camp I’ve used. We were up on the high hill (Shipwreck creek). Sites are widely spaced and spacious.
There are a few quirks to be aware of but I still give it five stars.
There is no sanitary dump station or RV fill station.
Most of the attractions: lighthouse, shore, hiking trails; are on the lake side a few miles away.
The lighthouse is a State Historical Society, facility society members are free but otherwise it is $10 or $12. It is beautiful.
Your state sticker gets you into Gooseberry and Tatagouch, spectacular waterfalls at both.

Best campground on north shore. Beachfront sites are best and convenient but up on the hill is good too. All very secluded with views.
