Second year in a row we’ve stayed here with friends. Sites are a little close so thus the 4 not 5 stars, but the setting is wonderful. We watched the full moon rise over Lake Superior at the end of August. It was spectacular

This is a beautiful campground right on the shores of Lake superior. The new section, the ones in the loopB, is built on a hill so all sites have a view of the lake. No trees though to provide shade or block the wind from the lake. The wind in this section is pretty substantial most of the time. The good news is there are no flies as they cannot stand up to the wind! The older section is just lovely with big trees and lovely lake views. Loop B is the most big rig friendly and the sites are large.

This is a nice campground by the lake and close to the cute city of Two Harbors. We were in site 7 and you are so close to site 8. Their awning was also touching our van. Some sites are definitely better than others. It is a quiet campground and if you can get a spot by the water the view is priceless. Water and electricity available. No sewer. They have a dump station. There is decent internet and we have cellphone coverage. The bathrooms were outdated but clean and they had installed new shower heads which was nice.

We stayed 1 night, with 35’ RV in water electric site, backed up to water, lots of grass and space, beautiful view of water, walk down to beach over rocks. Would stay again

We love camping on the shore. Campground is in the middle of many day trip adventures. Many waterfalls with in an hour drive.

Great location, but the sites are a bit crammed. A little spendy. Turd in the shower. I am hoping to master North Shore boondocking opportunities so I can a avoid the 40 foot, big screen TV and BBQ crowd, but this is the perfect place for them to gather.

Had registered for a pull thru didn’t have it when we got there. But yet they give campers that don’t need a pull thru the spots. Very very small campsites. Probably 10’ to the next camper trailers. Would not suggest this campground. Being a town campground and the the way the lady was calling people by their names I felt like they were catering to their friends.

A nice campground overall but be careful to choose the right site. Our site - 62 - was simply awful. Incredibly narrow - our neighbor’s electrical and water hookup a mere 6 feet from our camper. And the site didn’t have a flat spot other than where our camper was - all slopes and valleys. Fire pit was back by the trees - and mosquitoes. But again - if sitting there you were on a slope. Also - a small thing. The firewood wasn’t dry - spending $5 per bundle and you’d expect it to be dry. Might stay there again, but only if I can get a better site.

There are two areas; the older among the trees and the newer with a grand view. We stayed in newer area on the top level which is little hard to back a 40 foot FW into as the road has a curb. To supplement the difficulty the gravel pads appear narrower on the top level than the lower 2 levels. We parked there July 17 and the ground was soft. Would be no problem to drive in with a Class A or C
Weekends are reserved way ahead of time but weekdays take a little advance notice. Call the office, the people are wonderful to work with .

Always a good spot to spend some time. Right on Lake Superior. Walking distance to two harbors. The perfect lake spots are reserved way ahead but most sites are great.
