This park, campground, is clean & conveniently located off Hwy 52. When driving in it appears most sites are pull-thru’s. After we pulled in, we notice if we drove on thru, the tree branches were scratch our RV. The trees need to be trimmed for RVs 13 feet plus tall. Many campgrounds don’t consider the height & thus this is a common issue. We backed out of our site to prevent scratches. There was no staff on-site. Money is deposited in an envelope & put into a box. They prefer checks, but will take credit cards for extra fee. Not an issue for us bit it is nice to beware of this arrangement. We communicated via text when we had an issue. They responded very timely. We would probably stay here again but choose our site carefully.

We have stayed here several times since 2016. Now we are here for a six week visit at Mayo Clinic, which is less than 10 miles down Hwy 52. Laundry, bath house is locked this summer because of Covid 19, but I can know from our previous stays that it is very nice and clean. Tilly’s Bar and Grill next to the RV Park has great food. It is very popular among locals too.

Great stop over, very easy in and out. Big Rig Friendly!! Nice level gravel sites, plenty of pull thrust and some back ins. Great exit with cheaper fuel. 6 miles to major shopping.
