Busy, well managed park and campground with plentiful and clean bath facilities. Trails in surrounding area are wonderful and the fall colors an added bonus. Verizon cell coverage fine.

Site 22b, level rock, quiet. Lots of wildlife, pileated woodpecker, other nice birds to see. Nice trails to a beautiful lake. Very clean restrooms, very active and present park staff. Good firewood available . Stayed August of 2021.

Stayed here Thursday - Monday in early September in a 40’ motorhome. Beautiful spacious park. Our site was level, but not all of them are so double-check. Would have given the park 5 stars if they would have water at the site. We kayaked on Lake Independence and Lake Spurzem. Hiked and biked the extensive trail system. Golfed at nearby county-owned Baker National Park which was in excellent condition. Park was nearly full Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. Practically had it to ourselves Thursday and Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon. Would definitely return and recommend to others. Fall colors here would be awesome.

Busy place. Lots of trails. It was kept up okay considering how many people are here. So not spotless but good enough as far as bathrooms go.
