I stayed to ride the Shooting Star bike trail. I have been through 7 states in last 2 months staying in state parks whenever possible. I have a motor home towing a car. 27 dollars a night for 30 amp service, no water or sewer at site PLUS 14 dollars a night for my vehicles, $7 dollars a night for motor home and 7 dollars a night for car totaling 41 dollars a night. Ridiculous for a small site by state parks standards. This was the smallest and most expensive site of all the state parks I have stayed in. Then a loud party in group campground going on past midnight, many kids riding bikes through the campground and campsites to where I did not feel comfortable putting my dog outside, makes for unpleasant expensive stay. Will not come back and will not stay in anymore Minnesota State Parks.

A gem of a campground. It's small, well kept up, both grounds and bath facility's. you have a lake in walking distance and the bike trail, what more do you need. We are a repeat visitior and on are list to return to next year. Another thing that's a plus is large sites.
