Quiet campground in the trees. Bathrooms and showers were fine, but often muddy floors and the sinks were dirty. Not sure if the camp host was into it. Overall thought, a sweet place to stay if you have a smaller rig or tent.

One night June 20, 2023, in a truck camper. Dusty gravel roads with same at uneven camp sites. No electricity, water, or sewer for 30& online a bit much. Heavy tree cover and tight roads made it a tent or small rig campground. No check-in just go to your site. The bathroom seemed clean but the toilets were not working. Verizon weak signal but T-mobile mifi worked well.
a pretty river nearby with fishing and a good hiking trail alongside. From site 25 surprising amount of road noise. Sites large well spaced out with table and fire ring.

Beautiful forest park! No water or electric at the site and no dump station in the park so be prepared. Nice bathhouse with hot showers and flush toilets. Nice mix of tent and trailer/RV campers. Site 7 has extra room on one side because it's next to Lake Superior Trail but still private. Close to bathhouse. Plenty of hiking in park. Easy access to other state parks and sites along the North Shore. Make sure you go to Grand Portage National Monument,Grand Portage SP, Cascade River SP(has dump station and fresh water),Temperance River SP, and Grand Marais. And the mosquitoes were not an issue during the day and not that bad by the campfire!!
