One of the best campgrounds we’ve stayed at. The sites are large with gravel pads. They are surrounded with grass and mature trees. The bathrooms are well maintained ad clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Lots of birds singing, ground squirrels playing, and a very tranquil setting. We highly recommend this park.

Great campground with access to walking trails from the campground. Long deep spaces spread out with wide maintained grass area in between. Electric onl, fillup water at dump station as you enter campground. Bathrooms really clean. The trails go down to the river and the grass trails are well maintained with beautiful wild flowers. Excellent cell service

Very quiet. Tall, leafy trees. Lovely hiking trail with foot bridge over the Buffalo River. Fabulous swimming hole. Sites are big enough. 18 miles to Fargo. Good electric. If you book through Reserve America you’ll be charged a $10 fee, which brought the cost of our 2-night stay to $63. We thought that was a bit too much money for an electricity-only campsite. For this reason we’d probably look harder for full hookups if we came this way again.

Open campsites on a Monday. Our site included electricity but no sewer nor water but a nice trade off considering the roominess. Nice hiking trails. Only drawback was the proximity to the train tracks and the rumbling of the trains going by. Well manicured grounds. We didn’t use the showers since we are in our travel trailer

Nice campground. Brand new washrooms with showers. Clean! Nicely treed and walking trail. Swimming pond was closed- closed after Labor Day. Would stay again.

Not sure why no one mentioned they have a pond/pool with a lifeguard. It’s fed through a river system.
One thing worth mentioning is that there are no pull through sites and there are electric hookups but no water. You can get it at a pump though before pulling into your site.
I don’t know about the reviewer who said the showers were clean-no. They were not clean. They were molding the shower heads were squirting water all over. The temperature is preset and way, way too hot. I stood on the periphery to shower.
The campground was quiet and well maintained, except for the showers.

Decent site with electricity and water. Long walk to showers and rest rooms. $36 for site with State park entrance fee. Nice hiking trails. We were here for an over nite only and thought expensive.
