Great campground. Sloped terrain used to create 鈥渟plit level鈥 campsites. Sites were large, private and easy to access. Ours overlooked the river with steps down to access the water and a trail that encircles the campground. Vault toilets were the cleanest and best kept I have ever seen Saturday at 4 pm on a spectacular fall weekend there were still sites available.

Great campground. Stayed in Aug and all the sites were full but still quiet. The bathrooms are very clean even though it was an outhouse. Campsites are wooded, private, and plenty of room. We were able to play fetch with our dog right at our campsite.

Stayed for two weeks in June. Very quiet. Had a nice view of the river. Sites are pretty private, and have 30 amp. Few RVs here in June, and they were enjoying the quiet also. Great place to park RV while canoeing the Boundary Waters.
