Beautiful park especially during the fall. Campsites were wooded, private and well-spaced. If you pull a ginormous camper, some of the access roads are narrow or curvy, but my 22’ Airstream was a perfect fit! Well-maintained trails abound for all hiking levels and the swinging bridge has breathtaking views. A recently added bathroom facilities with showers was clean and featured a dish washing area. Will be returning for a longer trip!!

Very nice park and love the swing bridge area of the State Park itself. Loads of hiking and biking trails in the area, we barely even touched what was there. The dump station was oddly in the furthest back portion of the park so it is not super easy to get too. Also would like to see the park updated with more electric sites. Our site was well treed which kept our solar from keeping up with electric demands. Would definitely return to this park.

Park is beautiful and plenty of hiking. Reservations strongly encouraged as was full midweek in August. Tight spots and has to work to level 28’ trailer. Really more for smaller campers and tents. Pit toilets and no showers. That said, the St. Louis River is beautiful hiking an many things to do in the park with Ranger provided programs or supplies you can check out (birding, geocaching, ... kits).
