Great park. Always full. Close to several golf courses. Only reason not 5 stars is construction of new road behind park. Constant loud noise from 7 to 7.
Would be back to 5 for next year. Tip, don’t book a store with an A site next to it. The A site is practically in your backyard. All other sites are fantastic

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this campground. The sites are very clean, level & well-spaced. I could see where they had raked the sites between visitors. Lots of bushes around to help maintain privacy. Bathrooms/showers were large & clean. Dump station & water were easy to get in & out of for my campervan. Might be a bit harder for big rigs. Very quiet campground, very nice & friendly ranger who checked me in. Cell/internet with Verizon was good enough to stream videos. Very well maintained campground.

Stayed here Sep 10-11, 2022 with last minute reservations on site 39. Large, private sites. Clean, well maintained campground with some hiking and lots of fishing and boating opportunities.

Beautiful heavily treed huge sites. Ours was almost 100 ft. Only paid $14 with access pass and have up to 50amp. Fire ring and picnic table. Firewood $5. Beach nearby and lots of trails.

I have stayed here twice. Site 16a has a hobby farm, or something similar, behind it. The horse neighed a lot but watch out for the very loud Donkey! Totally unexpected but very fun! The campground is clean and well taken care of. I stayed in site 2 my second visit. Loved the location, private and easy to back into. Close to shopping, Brainerd International Raceway, and a wide selection for dining. Will definitely return. Friendly park staff and volunteers.
