Campground host is very friendly. Spots are tight for big class A rigs. If you are planning to ride the Iron Belle Trail this is not a good location. The trail is not done to this point as the state website shows so we had to ride 5 miles down a busy highway and then it only went 10 miles up to Ironwood, no trail in the other direction just highway.

Glad we got a site on the outer loop with a nice view of the lake. Other sites looked pretty tight. There is a beach area and playground, nice restrooms and WiFi. You are a ways from town. Only spent one night on our way to the UP.

We didn’t stay here, but were very grateful the park office allowed us to use their dump station ($5) on our way passing through from Porcupine Mountain State Park in MI.
