Camped two nights Thur-Fri Oct 3-4 with last minute reservation; lots of availability. Many of the sites have a great view of the bay on Lake Superior, but they are somewhat tight together without any privacy. Bathroom/shower was decent. Short trail to water access with a pier and picnic tables for swimming and kayaking. Clean and quiet campground.

Old but clean bathroom/shower. Short trail to a picnic area on the shore with a pier for swimming and launching kayaks. Good wifi and cell reception, but no overair tv channels.

Might be a nice park but beware of their punitive cancellation policy! God forbid you have a breakdown and attempt to contact them about it. I left a detailed message about my predicament and didn’t even get a courtesy call back. As busy as this park is in season I’m certain they had no problem renting my site and collecting double. I realize I signed onto their policy but you’d think they’d at least work with you when something out of your control occurs.

July 31 – August 10 L’Anse Mi. Township park. 126 N. Main St., LAnse MI 49946 Phone 906-524-7377. Reservations necessary. We were in site 8 with an open view of the bay. 6 through 12 are the best but have little shade. The other sites have shade but not as good a view. Electric only but water nearby with hose to fill tank if necessary. Campers are close together but the view is the compensation. Bathrooms and showers are old but clean and well maintained. Good WiFi but no TV. $30.00 per night. Easy access to the shore for swimming and picnics. All the sites are grass covered and pretty level. The staff is excellent.

Beautiful Place, Impeccably Maintained, Friendly Staff

This place is a gem! The sites are thick grass with beautiful views of the bay. There a great playground and a gazebo down on the water for cookouts or a fire. The staff is super! I hate to leave. ??

Very nice township run park and campground. Older campground but very clean. Grassy sites, with tables and low fire rings. Both shady snd sunny sites available. Most are level but may slope in back for long rigs. Friendly caretaker very knowledgeable about area. Fantastic Kewernaw bay views! Firewood and ice sold on site until office closes st 5.
