Great place! Feels like your deep in the woods but right in town. Nothing fancy, but everything you need.

This park is a nice place to stay as you travel east or west on US 2. They have a few sites that offer 50 amps, but most are 3o amp. The trailer sites a fairly level and are graveled, but kinda weedy. Interior roads are gravel. Water pressure is good and the water tastes good. Good phone with OK internet. This park offers hiking, bird watching, just plain old relaxing. Very quiet and green! Other parts of the park are good for tent campers and small campers. The price was great and the attendants very nice. We stayed 4 nights in a 5th Wheel. One last thing: the Town of Crystal falls is close by for supplies, and is worth a visit. Very cute!

This is a hidden jewel of a park. Beautiful surroundings, immaculate showers/bathhouse, just a couple of blocks from town but hidden away in a ravine adjacent to a beautiful river.
If you don’t want seclusion and possibly being the only campers on the property, this is not the place for you. The manager is off site and it’s a self registration. In our case, the manager came by in the morning and collected our fees. We had an odd with hook up and called the # and he came right over.
I loved this place! We camped here about two years ago but it still stands out as a special place. Path by river is very pretty but watch your footing, it hasn’t been maintained.

I've lived 5 miles away for 11 years and had no idea this lovely place existed. In an attempt to finish my 5th book (writer's block sucks!) I spent a couple of days at this campground. The quiet was thundering. Yes, one can hear faint traffic sounds and the occasional dog barking, but that is balanced by the wildlife - small critters, lots of deer (they come for the dozens of apple trees which drop their apples around this time of year) and I even had a coyote stroll through my spot, completely ignoring me and my dog. The toilets and showers are spotless. The cabins are rustic - beds only - but provide lights and electric. Most of the RV sites are surrounded by a dozen varieties of trees. The path to the river needs work, but just walking the roads and obvious paths will have you completely destressed. Although I was a lone elderly female - and the only person in the entire park - I did not feel at all insecure. The area is not exactly a hotbed of crime. If you truly want to get away from it all (and don't expect hotel-type amenities like swimming pools) this is definitely the place. I plan to write the rest of my books in that setting wherever possible. P.S. I DID finish the book.
