We showed up looking for a first come first serve campsite on a Sunday afternoon expecting to find many. There were 2 left. Very popular campground. We chose site 40 which was well shaded with fire pit and picnic table. No hookups at this campground but there is water, a dump station, and dumpsters. Camp hosts were pleasant. Biked to the casino (which is right across the street from the campground entrance) and had a nice lunch and gambled a little. We would return with our 28’ class C MH. There were some class A MH there also.

Beautiful, wooded and well separated sites. Most if not all of the sites can accommodate an RV. The old furnace site is interesting and a short walk from the campground.
No hookups, but easy access to fresh water and dump station.
Lots to see and do in the area.

Beautiful primitive campground. VERY shady - translates to no sun to charge up the batteries with solar. Very quiet and sites well spaced. Loved the little walking paths behind the campsites leading to the shore. 10-15 min drive to reach the Pictured Rocks Cruise dock in Munising, 30 min drive to Miner’s Castle & Miner’s Beach.

Great spots. Especially the few by the water. Some are reservable but a number are first come. Pretty level. I was in self contained van. One campsite away from water. No reservation. But midweek.
$20 a night but with senior golden eagle pass half price. Worth every penny

Many large level private sites. Only a few by the water, but still nice. Friendly camp hosts who can let you know if there are any cancellations.

Most sites nice and shady. 47-50 in sun. Dumpster, vault toilet, gravel pile across from 48. Back sites have road noise. Suggest reservations for midsummer. Good location for doing the Pictured Rocks. Would stay here again

Nice place. Sites placed decently apart. Family oriented so could get a little busy. But nice.

Nice near water. Toilets clean. Large wooded sites. Some sites reserved but did not seem to be a problem to find a site. Water and dump available. 16 dollars per night and 8 with golden age pass.
