We stayed here for the week. Mainly because of the location. This camp need some serious updating by today's standards. The sites are small and TOO close together. The view that brings everyone in just ok. Love to see some concrete pads in here. too much gravel! Camp has potential but it need work. Probably wouldn't stay here again but if you are forced to try to get a waterside spot.

Pool looks like it hasn't been working for a while. One of the shower houses closed. It's a run down campground. Sites are level, water pressure great, 45psi. Great location to explore bar harbor. That's why I gave it 3 stars. I would stay again.

Nice campground centrally located near to Bar Harbour and Acadia National Park. We stayed in site 318 it was a beautiful waterfront view where we were able to watch the tide go in and out and see the sunrise right from our site. Bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. Our camp site was very level and the staff at the office were lovely. Didn芒鈧劉t realize there was an airport nearby so there were planes going by overhead at times. Nice facility but internet with ATT was dismal. Overall enjoyed staying there for the beautiful views and location. Lots of restaurants nearby we loved the food at Smokey Joe芒鈧劉s BBQ and Lobster pound located right up the road from the campground.

Decent campground close to Acadia NP. The sites are gravel but mostly in good shape. Water, electric and sewer were adequate. Cell service (Verizon) is ok but gets very slow at peak times. Lots of very high end motor coaches and large 5th wheels here. One definite negative is the Bar Harbor airport just to the north of the campground. If the wind favors a certain takeoff direction, private jets will be taking off almost over your head very early in the morning. It芒鈧劉s not constant but will wake you up if you芒鈧劉re a late sleeper. If Acadia NP is your goal, this campground is definitely doable.

The location is pretty good, right on the main drag to Acadia but the pluses end there. The sites are soft gravel, our jacks and tires just sank also made riding a bike difficult and plenty of gravel ends up in your MH. The 芒鈧済rass芒鈧劉 was totally ant infested and you could barely sit at your site due to the ants.
We arrived with friends and due to a mixup with our reservations we were told we had to change sites partially through our stay due to our site being reserved (note there rules say they don芒鈧劉t guarantee specific sites). Even after pointing out that there were 8+ empty sites identical to ours the staff insisted we had to move, our site was taken and they couldn芒鈧劉t move the other group to the other empty sites that were identical to ours, they were reserved. They remained empty our entire stay. After our move the water pipe to our new site broke and was shooting water into the air until we noticed and called maintenance. Needless to say the utilities are subpar and pieced/rigged together at best.
If you need/want WiFi or cell reception this is not your place either. The campground WiFi is almost non existent and with AT&T we could hardly make a call.
Lastly, the pricing we were told is 芒鈧揹ynamic芒鈧, aka the more spots booked (similar to airlines) the higher the price. This even held true for if you booked for a week. We paid 91 for one night, our friends got charged 130 for the same night and the campground was half empty.
For the prices they charge the facilities, sites and service are nowhere near worth it!!

Nice park just a few miles from Acadia NP. No T-Mobile service we were using US Cellular network on our cell booster. There are a number of wireless hot spots to use in the park but the strength was was just OK. We were getting dropped all the time and had to reconnect. Sites were level gravel. Some of our nights were on Pass Port America so it off set the cost. With PA I would stay again. The full price is too high.

Beautiful place, clean showers hot. However pull through芒鈧劉s too close together. Also internet very poor, was very disappointing. When asked about it, given sheet with numbers. Sorry paying $80 a night should be a have been a better resolution. However would stay again.

Nice park, close to everything in Acadia National Park. Free bus comes to the park and will take you to most all the areas of interest in Acadia. WiFi was not good at all but other than that our two week stay here was great.

This place is like an afterthought of the other Narrows which is on the island. Tried to stay there, but was already booked back in March. Does that tell you anything? It芒鈧劉s all gravel roads and sites here with mostly weeds in between. Utilities all work fine, but some areas have sewage grate near and smells bad. We had to move from one location after complaining about it. A few hours later, they put someone else in that spot and they were not even close to being full. Many sites are pull in instead of back in, so we faced a large row of bushes. No trees to speak of. Next time I芒鈧劉ll book earlier somewhere else.

The campground was clean and the sites were level. However, the staff was very abrasive. We had paid for a private tour and upon returning to the campground we were literally chased down by a large truck and then our guide was verbally attacked by 2 workers as my family was exiting the car. My children were so thrown off by the situation they left their phone in the tour guides car. The next day we were rinsing our rv when camp security drove by us twice before stopping and letting us know we couldn't do that. Then he drive awayand mumbled under his breath, "read your paperwork". How unprofessional!
