As good a private campground as you鈥檒l find. We stayed 8/3-8/10/24. The sites are large, level with good separation and full hookups. The park is kept in immaculate condition with staff members constantly cleaning, mowing, and doing whatever is needed to maintain it in top condition. The main restroom is a bit dated but always very clean. The pool was always clean (tested daily) and is in very good condition. Our G鈥檇aughter (11 yo) enjoyed the large, well equipped playground and the pool. Echo Lake Beach is an easy 20 minute walk. At $80/night is peak season it isn鈥檛 cheap but, IMO, worth the price.

The sites are extremely clean and large. The staff well the owners are all there and very pleasant. The rest of the just as pleasant. They are extremely helpful and kind, we have been coming here for over 5 years. Have absolutely nothing bad to say. They constantly are working to improve the services, it is clean and very social campground, close to trails and many amenities. We use this campground as the bar to meet for a standard, all others are compared to Smugglers!

Just stayed here, June of 2021. Great family campground on the quiet side of the island. Easy access to all of the Island and Acadia. Would highly recommend this campground. Very quiet, nice sites, friendly knowledgeable staff.

We loved this camp! We extended our stay 2 days because we didn芒鈧劉t want to leave. Sites 117 and 70 are the best. Grassy and shady. We road the free bus everywhere so we didn芒鈧劉t have to deal with parking. The little restaurant/ice cream place at the entrance was great. The nicest people!

A good, well-maintained campground, really good location in Southwest Harbor. We liked this location on the 芒鈧搎uiet side芒鈧 of Mount Desert Island. Sites were wide and plenty long. Wifi was decent, water pressure was low. No dog park - however there is plenty of room to add one, which would be a big plus to let dogs off-leash and exercise. Good location to access most of Acadia, from 5 to 30 minutes away.

Great park with large sites available. Very friendly staff with a great camp store. Very well kept and maintained family owned campground. Great pool and playground for the kids. The local free bus line picks up at the camp office and goes to Village Green in Bar Harbor where you can connect to many other free busses to visit all the great attractions without parking hassle. Or walk the beautiful downtown area. Dont miss the Coastal Walkway on the edge of Agamont Park.
