Ok campground. Lots of year round campers. We stayed on a back in lake front site. Nightmare to get level ( all must park at sharp angles to level), sand surface. Extremely old bathrooms with not much privacy. Staff is rigid and grumpy. To be close to Portland downtown is only reason we would stay again.

We stayed here last year- and would definitely go back, our site was a nice size for our bigger travel trailer. Laundry room was nice and tidy. Lake was beautiful. We were here during Fourth of July week so we saw some fireworks - we will stay again if not booked. We thoroughly enjoyed this campground

Teardrop stay end of July: Great spot next to the water and every site has water and electric. We were able to use a tent site which made it more affordable. Dogs allowed, but they can’t be on the beach or in the water. If they changed this, we could have just stayed here and relaxed. Local area has more dog restrictions during summer months so stay flexible. Propane refill on site, small store and several nighttime activities you can participate in. Also had quick cleanup of sites as folks leave along with some of the cleaner shower/bathrooms I’ve experienced.

We stayed here late September. This campground was very quiet, really friendly staff, and our pitch (a pull through) was spacious with lovely lake views. Continuous hot water in the bathrooms which was very nice. Only downside was the WiFi which was very weak to non-existent. All in all, we would highly recommend!

Ok place. Lots of both bad and good spots. Best are along the lake if you can get one. Check out location before paying. Large number of seasonal campers which leads to a bit too much eyesores and possibly loud neighbors. Largest spots and pull thrus are not tree covered. Staff ok.

Friendly staff and clean bathrooms! The campground was a neat place with plenty to do if you have kids, but the clientele left a lot to be desired. Noisy dogs and several loud fights were not addressed in a timely manner. There were many seasonally rented locations. They have big rig parking. I don’t recommend parking near the water if you have a travel trailer larger than 30’ like us. The water spots are gorgeous but drop straight off to the lake. The full hookups would be great if you could use the sewer (flows uphill). Lots of spots and tent spaces with a beautiful beach, tall pines, and starry nights.

Very friendly folks with lots of help at checkin.
Pros: close to lots to see and do
Cons: 5 mpg with terrible speed bumps that rock the crap out of our trailer! We visited in October and the pine trees were shedding and the oak trees dropped acorns so big and loud when they hit. Thought they might dent the vehicles.
We extended our stay due to the great location. We would definitely stay there again, just would request an open area.

Expensive. Good restrooms. Nice Lake.
Loud planes overhead. Campsites small and not well separated.

Pretty place...close to wonderful Portland. Grumpy staff...family owned doesn't mean they have good personalities. Only will be back if I need to be that close to Portland.
