For FHU, CGs in this area are very sparse. Site 44, not level, the path to the sewer was uphill so had to go to main dump when paid for FHU. Vast majority are seaonals. Pool was the cleanest I’ve seen for a CG as there were no chairs or lounges at the pool. Penobscot River Trail was nice for walking and cycling. RVs are not advised/allowed in Baxter & Latahdin Woods state and National Parks. There are only dirt roads.

Stopped by in October; things were very quiet: although it looks like there is a lot going on in the summer. Very nice sites; much better than most private places nestled among trees and cabins. Very nice, clean bathroom/shower facility
