Pretty campground with lots of shade trees. Most sites are gravel; some grass. Decently paved roads. Old people who run it require checks or cash, no online reservations, but they are very efficient and polite. Showers require a quarter but they work well. A good place to stay.

Very nice campground. Sites are spacious & level. Toilet stalls are small and you need quarters to take a shower. Staff was cordial

Wow wouldn鈥檛 even have a conversation about our service dog coming there because she might have some pitbull in her. We got her from a shelter who knows what kind of dog she is. But that鈥檚 cool. Night 235 on the road and first place to tell us our service day isn鈥檛 welcome. Can鈥檛 wait to share.

We really liked this campground. It has a good feel to it. We only stayed one night and were right behind the first bathhouse near the road. Noise from the road was fairly contestant but didn鈥檛 bother us. The washers and dryers were 1.75 each and were clean and since our site was near super convenient. The showers are a quarter for more than enough time to get clean. (5-7 min) there鈥檚 a shuttle to town for $5 ea person (4x day) but we didn鈥檛 use it. Would stay again and would reccomend.

Second stay here. Last time I really dinged the facilities. Due to virus not an issue because did not use them. Also, this year in big rig section with lots of satellite friendly sites. BUT the WiFi is terrible and so is AT&T.

Two years ago I reviewed this park as a 芒鈧 good value 芒鈧, but now, I must agree with the Doc review below, pettiness. They charge about $52.00 a night with a long list of do芒鈧劉s and don芒鈧劉t, very old yet very clean shower houses, great cable television, personal trash cans at each site. I would stay here again just because it芒鈧劉s almost the only game in town, but come on, update the shower houses and don芒鈧劉t charge me for a shower while I芒鈧劉m paying $52.00 a night.

Very wooded park. Only sat friendly sites are in the big rig section but the cable tv is excellent. For 2 bucks you catch the shuttle to Boothbay Harbor. You wait 4 hours for them to come get you or take a cab back for $10.
Downtown a lobster roll will run about $25. If you stop at Tracy芒鈧劉s food trailer just up the road away from town you芒鈧劉ll get one just as good for $15.
The facilities are very dated...I have never seen smaller toilet stalls. Plus they are 芒鈧搇ow boys芒鈧
My wife was surprised to learn after undressing for shower that she needed a handful of quarters to get hot water. PO芒鈧劉esd to say the least. Pettiness personified.

Five stars because the park is well laid out, the RV sites are spacious and the staff is wonderful. Even near the road I couldn't hear road noise inside our camper. The park is well maintained but we didn't use the restroom or shower facilities. They only take cash or checks; no credit cards. No problem as they told us this when we made our reservation. All this said, I'm not young and this park doesn't cater to kids. There isn't any pool and the playground is old (but well maintained). I bring my own WiFi so I don't know how good the park WiFi is. This park is perfect for us.
