Nice park once you鈥檙e in. The entrance is quite narrow for a big rig and navigation can be a challenge. Great proximity to downtown Belfast and the coast.

Just spent a few days at Moorings and loved it!!! We had a view of the ocean and gorgeous Maine coast. The staff was fantastic and we met some great people in the campground. We would come back here again and even asked about long stays/seasonal info. Grounds and facilities were clean and well maintained. We also fell in love with Belfast and looking at properties to move. I highly recommend this scenic and quiet campground.

Great RV park. Friendly staff who helped us get settled in. A bit tight for big rigs but completely manageable. This park has beach access as well.

We stayed here in July 2022. The location is great with a fantastic view of the bay. The property has direct access to a beach area that is a mixture of some sand and a lot of small rocks. Kids were having fun playing along the shore, and we enjoyed walking our dog during both low and high tide. The campground was well managed and staff were helpful. Despite the name including 芒鈧搑esort芒鈧, amenities are lacking including a pool or similar resort elements. Dogs are required to be walked in a small grass area which was workable, but not ideal. Sites are close together and our camper was smoked out the first two nights by the adjacent site芒鈧劉s fire ring, which was mere feet from the side of our site. Staff refused to relocate the fire ring, and blamed the problem on the choice of wood used by the other campers. Belfast is a neat town with cute shops and good restaurants to visit.

Beautiful location right on the water. Very quiet at night even though it's on a main highway. We would highly recommend Moorings to others.

This campsite was absolutely perfect! It was everything we hoped for - small, quiet, & central to the places we were hoping to explore (Acadia, Bar Harbor, coastal towns all the way down to Portland, etc). We stayed at site 8 for the majority of our time there and then switched to site 2 for our last night (due to rescheduling due to Covid stuff). Both sites were waterfront and just gorgeous!!! Site 8 is more private as you are beside a small woodline on the property芒鈧劉s edge, so we preferred that one. Site 2 has more of a 180 degree view of the water. When we venture back up to Maine (a big trip for us coming from GA), we will DEFINITELY stay here again!!

First class park right on the ocean. Staff is some of the best we have encountered. Very conscientious about Covid. Young芒鈧劉s lobster pound just down the road. Wish we could stay longer.

If I could give this place a 10 star rating, I would!!! We芒鈧劉ve met some WONDERFUL people here. Bonnie and her boys are so sweet! We were going to be out of here the 3rd of July but we met seasonals and they wanted us to stay for the 4th. Every site was booked. But the office said they芒鈧劉ll make it happen for us. So, they let us boondock. They were so generous and nice about it. We got to stay a couple more days to hang with the new friends we met. We芒鈧劉re so grateful for their generosity. I芒鈧劉m not sure you could find this just anywhere. By the way, you can see the bay from any site. The sites are full hookups and the campground people are SO helpful!

Beautiful campground, nice level, wide sites. All sites seem to have full hookups. Sewer, 50 Amp Electric and cable tv. Wifi covers all of campground. Pet friendly. You can see the ocean from most anywhere in the campground. Friendly staff and other campers very welcoming. Downtown Belfast is a very nice small town downtown with lots to do with some great restaurants. Already booked my next reservation to come back here again.
