Great campground! Although the recreation area/campground is not located on base, it still has a guarded gate. Most sites have shade. Has a huge pool area on site. With 3 large pools and a splash pad. The lifeguards are professional and on top of things. We never used the restrooms and showers, so I can’t speak to those, however we did use their laundry and it was pretty nice. They have a huge fishing pier, and lots of cool stuff for the kids. The sites themselves are not very level and do not have big concrete pads , so be prepared for that. They can get muddy, but the amenities make it worth it!

This is a pretty decent military campground very large with lots of amenities. It has several areas overlooking the water. There’s a mix of permanent and weekenders. The sites are pretty close to each other in some areas. The site we had was in the G section and flooded after heavy rain storm. It this didn’t happen I would’ve given it four stars.But for the price you really can’t beat it.

This is a good RV Park. I have stayed multiple times and my only complaint would be that not all of the sites are all weather sites. I had a lake in front of my RV when it rained for multiple hours. The drainage was ok but could have used some improvement. Additionally, the sites do not have a hard base for the entire RV. The base itself I would give 5 stars. Lots of walking areas, great fishing pier, good facilities that are well maintained and if you have a maintenance issue at your site, they respond immediately. Will stay again when in the area.

We were in Area F. Spacious sites. Very quiet. Great stay. Excellent cell signal. Poor TV reception. Bring your own fire ring if in the RV section. Fire rings are available only at primitive sites. Much stuff to do for kids. Excellent biking and walking. Easy drive to other areas such as Annapolis. Everything was well maintained and clean.

Couple of things that you will want to know. 1. There is no sewage hookups at Goose Creek. You will have to go to the dump station which is about 4 miles away. The dump station is not very well marked but, it is 150 feet from the traffic circle at building 600. 2. The fishing pier was not open and in need of serious repairs. 3. It was very quiet there and did not see another person for an entire week. 4. The bath house is at the entrance of the campgrounds. 5. Use "Goose Creek Campgrounds" in the Google search and the directions take you right to it. 6. Don't forget why you are there. Enjoy being with your family. Make those memories :)

Lots of things to do for young kids, especially if you know where to look. Easy beach access and a great aquatics/pool center. Parking spaces for travel trailers / RVs are a little tight. Not sure how it would have worked out if all the spots were full. Really hard to get ahold of the front desk except by walking in and seeing them. Overall though, we would visit again.

First time at this camp ground and it’s a great spot for short get always. Nicely maintained, although a few low hanging branches need to be cut. I will definitely stay here again!

Good value but not very well maintained. First time visitors do not have a very clear direction to check in. Central booking booked us for 30a site even though a 50a was needed. On site staff was helpful I’m finding new site. Sites are not clearly marked. Many campers selected sites not assigned to them.

Very nice campground. Very close to Pax river. Lots of things for the kids. I only gave 4 stars because its a little pricey for military camp.

It is more of a trailer park then a campground. All websites associated with the campground are at least three years old, went to rent a boat and the lady looked at me like I was crazy, an updated site would have that information. Very dissatisfied as this is the first time we have used the facilities, not sure we will be back.
Check in at 1445, room was not cleaned, told house keeping, went to the pool
For two hours, came back housekeeping was still cleaning the room, now its 1700, had to go to dinner, returned 1900, mins you I have a 2&4 year old.
