Woodsy out of the way park a bit of a drive to the river. Modern bathrooms and playground. Zero bars for ATT and Verizon at the camp itself though there is better coverage in other place in the park like the boat launch. Manor house of Confederate general taxpayers are still apparently paying to maintain.

Camped there last weekend. It was the first time we had been to Susquehanna State Park. Our experience was excellent. We had a few problems with our camper; camp hosts, Joyce and Rich, and state park staff, Madison, were extremely helpful in resolving them. The site was very private and very nicely located on a little path to the restrooms, which were the nicest I’ve seen in a state park in a long time.

It was a beautiful park. We had a lovely shaded site with electricity and were assisted by a very helpful campground host who went out of her way to see that we were accommodated. The bathhouse was very clean and conveniently located as was the dump site. Trash bins and water were readily available. While the site was slightly uneven, it was easy to handle. We would definitely stay here again. We camped one night in a 22' RV.
