Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Happy Hills Campground Road to: Once you are off the interstate, the road leading to the campground is bumpy and uneven. It constantly has the bus leaning left to right. Road inside: Very bad. The road is partly asphalt that is coming apart. Part gravel with lots of dips and uneven surface. Trees: The trees getting to our site needs trimming. The road is a single lane road past ugly seasonal campers and trees hit the motorhome. Check in: Large size office. Parking: Large size parking. Seasonal campers: Lots. Signage: Poor. Even though I had a map, the numbers are small and hard to read. Site D44: Gravel pad, and unlevel. Had table and fire pit on grass. Site is dry. View: OK view of barn and other campers. Site spacing: Good spacing on some sites, others are very close. Bathhouse: Did not use. Laundry room: Did not see. Swimming pool: The pool is the only good thing about this campground. Very nice Club house: Did not see. Fitness area: No. Restaurant: Small cafe. Grounds: Poor. Air TV: None. Wifi: It worked on weekdays, not the weekend. So here is the bad: 1) Roads. 2) Trees. 3) Overall look. 4) Wifi 5) The campground allowed a large group to set up a party kitchen right next to our site. Although all the other sites in our row were empty, they put them adjacent to us. We had over 30 adults and children partying next to us for two nights. I would not come back.

Stopped here for one night when traveling through area. BiIG MISTAKE! Horrible site. Called ahead and explained would prefer pull thru site to keep towed car and dolly connected. Was told they didn’t have anything but would give us site plenty gib enough for 38 foot motorhome. Got there and office was closing. Went to site and was HORRIBLE! Barely long enough, totally in-level, and water wash through it. Walked around campground later in evening and saw many other large open sites that would have been great. Other camper said he couldn’t believe they put us in site they did. Will NEVER, NEVER stay there again.

Poor roads, pot holes and ruts, sloped uneven sites. When it rains many small streams run down the roads and through the sites. Shower; pull cord on spring for water flow, no temperature control (one day luke warm, the next scalding hot). Poor control on noise on Friday night. Check in was easy and the clerk was friendly. We will not return. The trash bin was over full and smelly, which has attracted bears. There was trash left in the fire pit, which we had to remove (due to bears). Most of the sites are not level and somewhat overgrown.
