One of the top 5 parks I have stayed in. Huge private sites. Nice trail around the lake. No water but easy fill up. Next to a beautiful golf course. Set in the mountains. Fabulous in the Fall

Beautiful grounds and lake; friendly staff and clean restrooms with hot showers. We stayed here just before season and it was quiet with a bit of rain, but pleasant. If you don't need a hookup, loops F and H were lovely with a short walk to the lake. Beautiful countryside.

One of the nicest state campgrounds we've been to, we're traveling in a 24 ft RV. Great wooded sites, clean large bathrooms with great ventilation. Nice beach and walking trails, even a dog beach / swimming area. The only thing to be aware of is that apparently the electric sites book quickly (we didn't need one) and check in is at 3, they don't let you in early. Would definitely stay again.

This is a pretty good campground. Most of the sites are slightly larger than advertised but they are heavily wooded and secluded. All are light gravel and mostly level. There is a separate "campground only" beach and rec area that is REALLY nice with canoes, kayaks and paddle boards available for rent. (Free for military vets though so don't forget to ask!) Electric is below average (115v). No TV antenna reception. Cell service is good (Verizon) although you will be on an "extended" network. Quiet at night. I'd definitely stay again.
