Nice little campground with a variety of options for staying. We were on one of the wooded sites which was very large and had a bit of an intimate feel to it. Pretty level, asphalt site right by the C&O Canal towpath. We recommend that you make sure to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper since the trains do run all night.

Nice small park right on the Potomac River, but also a public boat ramp with a water sports outfitter on sit, so LOTS of public traffic. Great hiking and biking trails near bye, and of course water sports. The large train yard next door actually wasn’t that noisy at night.

Nice place to camp with electric and water hookups that were nice and new. Ground wasn’t level but it was right on the river with great trails for hiking along the tow path. Excellent playground for the kids and large clean bathhouses. We really enjoyed it and because of the proximity to our home in WV we will be returning. The little town of Brunswick is also an excellent stop (walking distance if you’re in shape) and there’s even a nice little craft brewery I recommend trying near by.

Griz is spot on. Kinda tight getting in and out with 37' LOA TT, but not terrible. Grass lots that aren't perfectly level, so have plenty of leveling blocks. We enjoyed it a lot because it's one of the more natural campgrounds. Plenty of trees, most spots are close to the beautiful Potomac, and the people are super friendly. The train noises didn't bother us at all overnight with the windows closed.

Nice enough place situated right on the Potomac, a narrow strip between the C&O canal and the river. You actually drive on the tow path to get there. A dirt road. Sites are level enough but could be muddy. Some are on a sunny lawn, some under large trees. Brunswick is a train town. Big time. You WILL hear trains. You cross the tracks at the historic Brunswick station. Long waits for freight trains to pass can happen when going in or out of the campground. River running shuttles come and go through the CG. there are bike and kayak rentals. Not far from Harpers Ferry.
