Nice state park with big sites and lots of trees between them. No water though, so bring your own. The bath house was mediocre but clean. This park is really set up for biking and easy trail walking. There are miles and miles of paved trails and even more unpaved. There are markers at most trail intersections and a map available to cross check your position. And to be only an hour to downtown Boston or Cape Code, WOW..

Nice state campground but out of state prices were almost three times the amount for an in stater to stay. We had electric but no water. Site had a large depression that was continually filled with water during our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Other than the outrageous out of state fees to stay here we would stay again.

This park is fabulous. The rangers and staff are a delight. You generally have to go through reserve America to make a reservation and they tac on about $8 for that and if you want to make a change they will charge you for that. Nice sites and the sites are well shaded in the trees. We normally get a back in site as we have a 25 foot motorized RV and are towing either a Jeep or motorcycle. There is plenty of room on each site to store trailer and Harley Trike. We have only got electric sites. There are water hookups all over the Campground and there is an easy in and out dump site. This is a very forested park. It is convenient to the communities south of Boston and we stay here about 3 times a year when visiting children. The shower area of the bathroom does get a dirty floor now and then. I don’t know why some campers are so piggy. Because we are not state residents we pay about $32 a night. My son graduated from 2 Boston universities and the price beats the $350 to $500 a night Boston hotel prices I have paid. Plus we can have Fido and fluffy the cat with us at no extra charge. The staff told me the do have spots for big rigs.

Nice place. Very very wooded. Power at each site is good, no waters sites. No internet available. But- it is about 3 miles to the Ferry to Boston so it is well worth it. Very quiet at night, you would never guess that you were in a Boston suburb.

Nice, quiet campground close to Boston and Plymouth Rock. Price on reserve website has not been updated. Non-resident is about $31, still a GREAT price for being in the NE and so close to Boston. Sites have been upgraded to 20/30/50 amp power with nice and clean power poles. Some sites look really small all but are listed with size on website. We are 42’ overall 5th wheel and fit nicely in 40’ site with room for truck. Bath house/showers are clean and nice. Water spigots are everywhere around the grounds. We would definitely stay again if in the area!

Great state park close to Boston but secluded. Could definelty be overcrowded in the high season. Little bike park by the visitors center for kids. Well kept bath and shower facilities. 15 amp is a downer.

Close to Boston but you wouldn't know it. Nice sites, bathrooms and showers. Electric (20amp only). Recommend it.

The park was very quiet and provides a nice setting in the woods. The spots are spaced quite a ways apart. The bathrooms are decent. Some of the restroom houses have dish washing stations attached to them. There is access to a lot of nice trails in the park. This is great for those wanting a place to stay while enjoying Boston, as the rail station is only 15 minutes for the campground. And the price is hard to beat for the Northeast.
