This was our first visit to River View RV Park, and we will be back! The park runs along the Mississippi River right across the bridge from Natchez MS. It was a great location for touring the local highlights, including beautiful antebellum homes, a winery, a brewery and many fine restaurants. The park was very well kept with concrete pads and full hookups. A paved trail runs along the river from the campground 1.5 miles to a park. We loved our evenings in the hot tub and at our campsite watching barges pass by on the River!

We very much enjoyed this RV Park and Natchez. We were in a 45 foot motorcoach and many sites easily accommodate. The staff is fabulous. Walking along the river, and watching the barges was a great past time in the afternoon. Very dog friendly. There is a lot to do in and around Natchez. Everyone was incredibly friendly and hospitable.

We have stayed here a couple times. Staff is always good to us and work campers are great. There is good doggy park. Full hookups with concrete pads. The hot tub was GREAT and the pool looked nice. You can in hot tub and watch river barges pass on the river or watch vehicles crossing over the Mississippi River bridges. There is a nice public river walk that is over a mile long. The bathrooms were clean. Only con was we was there in May and the buffalo flies were out in force.

Full hookups and fully operational in November. This campground is on the river side of the levee which gives you a great view of the Mississippi River and Natchez. Cost was just over $45 per night but there are deep discounts for longer periods. Our pull through site was on a concrete pad and I didn芒鈧劉t have to level or need to chock the wheels.

This is a great place to stay with wonderful amenities and hospitable hosts. The sewage is cut off by the City of Vidalia when the Mississippi River Stage is at extremely high levels such as now (June 2019). The campground brings in vacuum trucks 3 times a week to take sewage off of the long term campers, at the campground芒鈧劉s expense. The laundry and showers are also offline during these times.

We spent 17 nights here in our motorhome and had a back-in limestone (gravel) site with full hook-up and W/S/E-50 Amp. But due to the Mississippi River flooding over a third of the campground, we were asked to not hook up to the sewer system. To their credit, the campground arranged a service to pump us out as needed and at their expense. The Wi-Fi was very good, we were able to get satellite TV and AT&T phone service was strong. The washers in the laundry room and the restroom facilities were not available due to the river flooding. This is a very nice park, with easy access in and out along LA 131 just one mile south of US 425 & US 84. Sitting right along the Mississippi River provides a panoramic view of the river traffic and close proximity to the numerous historical attractions of Natchez, MS and Ferriday, LA. Overall, we give this campground a 芒鈧揋ood芒鈧 rating (Four stars) and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a fifth wheel for 3 nights. Really enjoyed our stay. Loved walking on the river walk. Decent sized pads. Most prime sites are concrete, others are gravel. Roads are gravel. Something to consider if you are in a 5ver or TT, the front end of your trailer will be facing the river and most prime sites are angled where your river view is going to be on the curb side of the camper. There are no fire rings at the sites but some public fire rings are available across the street. Wireless internet did not work for us but we were farthest from the office. Office staff was very helpful and wrote down all the good restaurants for us and we really enjoyed watching the tugboats go by from our camper. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of good wi-fi we thought the prices were a bit high. However, there are no other decent places to stay nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

March 2018: Stayed for a few nights to take in the sites of the Mississippi River and Natchez. This place is very close to Natchez and probably the best place to stay in the area. The grounds were spacious, and the sites large. We had issues with our cable TV and they could not fix it. With the price being over $45 a night we felt that the facilities were a bit dated. However, this is probably your best bet for this area.
