Fantastic campground. Very well kept. We stayed at the parkway area. Beautiful views, fishing, and playground. Down side is not a lot of shade and tons of mosquitoes at night. The beach was well kept. The concession stand had cold snowballs and more. Sadly they dont alow pets on the beach. But overall we had a great experience. Even the park manager came and checked up on us from time to time.

Loved Lake End Park. Sites are adequately sized and the views were wonderful! The Bark Park was great for our Sheltie. We芒鈧劉d definitely stay here again. Park was clean and very well maintained.

We芒鈧劉ve been on the road for three weeks now during this outing and Lake End is the BEST place we芒鈧劉ve visited by far. The sites are grass, but they all have full hookups. The main pavilion has clean restrooms and showers. The people are super friendly (staff and visitors). There is a great seafood take-out shack within walking distance of the park. Two notes to be attentive to: 1) Other than the Marina sites, they can become a bit sodden when the weather turns rainy; 2) avoid the sites along the water on the Rt 70 芒鈧損eninsula.芒鈧 They芒鈧劉re swampy and too far away from the conveniences of the main park.

Out on the peninsula was wonderful. Relaxing, very well maintained. Full hookups, no cable (which was fine with us) open WiFi. We had a very level site. Grass and gravel. With discount we paid less than $30 per night. Could easily spend a lot of time here when the weather is nice

We were looking for a quiet spot on the water and couldn芒鈧劉t be more delighted. We found an unexpected nature trail that is unlike anything we芒鈧劉ve ever seen before with the willowing moss covered trees. Well worth your exploration!

Leaving Feb. 6 after 1 month. Sites a little tight when it fills up on week ends. Well run park. Site was right on water. Great for birds and kayaking. Only negative some highway noise. Hope to come back again.

what a wonderful find. This county park has lots of RV sites and 10 sites and they use and their nicely separated. It is on a beautiful little lake with houseboats. Charming place to walk and relax. We stay just one night on our way to New Orleans but would absolutely go there again The staff was extremely friendly and other campers were as well.
