October 23, Horsehoe casino has closed the parking lot to the left as you enter, too many transients were making it their home. I was able to park in a back lot that was very big and had a heli port on it. It was also close to the Boomtown sign. I was the only rv and on semi. It was well lit and I felt secure even though it was away from everything. The casino is still in walking distance and the valet service for the Horsehoe will drop you off

This is like a commuter lot. Big rigs cars electrical work trucks few rvs. We are in an rv. Smells like low tide. Hope to get some sleep.

I’m not sure how this rated 4 stars but giving it a 2 because there was no check in and of course it is free. This is a small lot that has adequate lighting and is level but is very close to I-20. There is an occasional distant train and plenty of road noise (loud cars and sirens), so wear ear plugs. No one bothered us but I would try to arrive before dark. In a pinch this lot was ok with not many choices for the area.

Perfect boondocking experience. We stayed here for one night on 6/28/17. Safe-feeling, level parking lot, fully lit, grassy area for dog. Convenient location right off of the interstate. Steps away from beautiful hotel and casino. Even if you don't gamble, it's worth checking out the "Million Dollar Wall" in the hotel. The person who rated this location 1-star was unfair. Amenities should never be expected at a boondocking location...only a free, safe place to park should be expected. This location delivered.

It's just a parking lot but perfect boodocking place to stay on your way through. There is even grass along side the valet parking lot for walking your dog.

This is not a campground but a separate unmarked parking lot. No amenities but felt quite safe
