Quiet and peaceful park, easy to find, friendly camp hosts. Pull thru spaces and back-ins; some sites have more land/space around them than others. Level cement pad, full hookups at each site, each site had its own trash can, no cable, no Wi-Fi, very clean restroom and bath facilities. Wish we could have spent more than one night.

Nice Campground. Very helpful staff. Full hookups. Sites are mixed pull thrust versus back inside. Always nice to be on a military installation. Would stay again without hesitation, if available.

We spend at least 5 months every year traveling. We love the "family feeling" and security of the military Famcamps. We look ahead and welcome being able to stay on military bases. Barksdale AFB was a half way point for us on our way to New Orleans. Allstays reviewer rated this a 5 star Famcamp. This summer we stayed at 7 military bases. Barksdale is by far the worst. The sites are small and confusing. It is dusty and cramped. We had to initial and sign a form stating "dogs on a leash" policy. Within 10 minutes of our stay, there were two large dogs running unleashed. This place looks like a low rent trailer park. Many cars at each site. What a disappointment! Poorly managed, fire ants all over - how ever did this place get 5 stars? $18 is way too much to pay for this place. We will NOT be back.

Great overnight famcamp. Excellent bath/club house. Great price. Directions on the ¿ìÈýƽ̨ link are spot on. Worth the visit.

This is a great overnight place to stay. It is located in the woods with some pull-thru sites. I have stayed here several times as I travel via I-20, as it close to the freeway.
