Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Paintsville Lake Campground. Getting to the campground was no problem. Short distance from interstate on paved road. The town of Paintsville is small but with a new Walmart and Food City. The roads in the campground are paved and in good condition. The trees seem to all be trimmed. The campground office is a small booth at the entrance which was open and everyone was friendly. No camp store. No parking area, just the entrance. No escort to our site. The road signage to our site was good. Sites have fire pits and they sell firewood for $7. Our site was 4, a pull thru site with a gravel slab, and picnic table. The site had a nice view of the woods. The campground has both sunny and shady sites. Our site was level. The site was dry. There are no seasonal folks. The bathhouse was simple but clean. There is a laundry room that was OK. No pool but they have a lake that allows swimming. There is no rec room. No workout fitness room. There is no restaurant. The grounds look nice. There is no wifi, no cell service, no cable and no over the air antenna reception. Here is the bad. No Wifi, no cell service and no air antenna reception. Bathhouse is plain. As long as you know this going in, this is a great campground. I would come back. Sites 4, 1, 2, 8, 22 are my favorite. See great photos at

A lovely park. Host was great芒鈧漨et me at my site and brought me back firewood. Huge area to park at each site. Well maintain and overall very inviting. Lake and marina right there. Only stayed one night but would definitely visit again and stay longer.

Fantastic gem of a park! All level blacktop relatively large sites.
Only negative is little to no cell service.
