I cannot recommend this park. We used reserve America and specified the length of our travel trailer however the site assigned to us was not long enough for both the tow vehicle and travel trailer and there was absolutely nowhere to park the tow vehicle. This site slanted towards a precipitous drop off to the water side and I could not have felt comfortable parking the trailer in a level position securely on it. The pavement provided was so narrow that you would not be able to step out of the side door onto the pavement. All the adjacent sites seemed similarly poorly laid out and difficult to back into with inadequate provision for parking. The lake is beautiful and the campground very close by but it needs to be Reengineered!

We agree with all the other reviews. The sites are not level and the hook ups are far away but it was very beautiful. We stayed in site 65. It was quite. We were there at the end of October.

Beautiful views and would try to stay on the north loop as it is quieter and seems to have better views than the south loop. There is trail down to the lake that most do not know about (from the south side of site 65) that allows shaded/clean swimming in the lake. Would suggest calling the campground to determine how long of electrical cord and water hose you will need as the closest place to buy is about 20min away (suggest Benton’s Walmart as the host recommended Shop O’Rama will often run out). Should also be prepared to need a lot of leveling, as most sites are at a steep decline.

It’s a beautiful lake surrounding the campground and can be seen by 75% of the sites, even if just a little by the on the hill. The sites are not very level so you’ll need plenty of leveling blocks. You will also need extra power cords and water hoses as it’s quite a distance to outlet from camper. Sites need rock around the pavement as many of them have a drop off around paved part and can cause a tripping hazard. Campers over 30’ can be tricky to get in several of the sites. Even with all the cons to this older campground, we still enjoy it because the area around it is so beautiful.

We reserved site 64. You absolutely MUST have 50' electric & water cords/hoses! Water & elec are shared by 2 sites & not close to either site. Sites are not level. Pretty view of the lake through the trees but water not accessible from this camping loop.
