Camping spots are spacious but getting in there was a challenge in a big rig especially. limbs need to be trimmed so advise caution getting in and out to avoid scratches . Host super friendly and helpful. Lake had a lot of floating dead fish so had a smell and didn’t want to use swimming area because of that. The one hiking trail they had was very overgrown, and you couldn’t hike it because pf that .. good campground just needs some TLC.

The hosts were wonderful! She called me back on her day off to give us a more accommodating site and then met us at almost 9pm that night, again on her day off. She wanted to make sure we found our spot and we’re able to get settled. She went above and beyond!! Will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area. Unfortunately, we just needed a place to stay for a quick overnight, so didn’t stick around for any activities or use much of the amenities, but the sites are nice and woodsy and we could see the lake from our spot.

We visited during some hot weather but luckily there is lots of shade. We had site 13 right on the lake and had plenty of room between sites. As it was midweek, there were plenty of sites. This would be a good place to stay several days with a hiking trail, playground and a Lake beach for kids. Bath house was clean and private. Lots of room and not steamy. Would willingly comeback here no recommend this campground.

Oh my- the perfect place to hunker down for the July 4th holiday weekend. We tend to avoid camping during popular times but this year, it couldn’t be avoided. But we really hit the jackpot in finding this little gem. It’s a small campground with great views of the lake even if you aren’t on a lake side site. One way traffic helped reduce the noise and for whatever reason this section of lake Barkley is not preferred by boaters so it was quiet. Bath house was above average clean and I saw crews routinely keeping it looking good. Location was centralized so if you forgot something, stores were not too far of a drive. Perfect in almost every way I can think of!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Sites are gorgeous, right on the lake but a little tight to back into with my 32ft Class C. But its definitely doable. The place is very well maintained.

Just love this coe campground. My site had a on the lake, with steps down to the water. Site was large, level, with shade. Campground was quite and clean, roads are paved for easy access to your site. I was in a pull through with a class C 32ft.and a tow car. Had all the room I needed. Campground host was outstanding and a very nice person. Restroom and showers were clean. I will be back to this location when I can.
