★★☆☆☆
Very loud trains roaring all night right along the 4H fairgrounds. No laundromat (permanently closed). My site was level concrete with electricity only. There are numerous full service sites. Bath and shower facilities were poor by me, but showers by the full service campers were ok. Campground is hilly & people walk along the roads in the morning.

Sites were close together on a gravel lot & very short. Not very level.Water & electric OK. Cable did not work.Bathrooms are clean but desperately in need of paint. OK for an overnighter. Loud loud train noise throughout the night and racing cars and engines on the street. Over $40 is too much to pay for this type of campground. Also, there’s no one answering the phone or in the office on a Friday afternoon when we stayed here. You’re on your own! After you make your online reservation and pay you get information which says they can move you to another site if they want to.? I wouldn’t stay here unless I was too tired to keep going.

Stayed two nights. Area is clean and quiet. They have two washers and two dryers in their laundromat. This area is also well kept and the machines worked well. Little hard to find the office, but you can do everything on line to include paying. WiFi was a little weak. Would stay here again.

Decent place to stay. Stayed several nights in our class A RV. stayed in one of the pull through sites so it was easy in and back out. Full hookups with no frills. Quiet area and lots of room to walk your dog.

Preparing for a year long journey around the US and having sold our house but not quite done with our jobs we spent three weeks here during the transition. Staff in the office are friendly but it's not obvious where the office is at first (it's to the left of the activity center, BTW). They don't police the campground and it isn't needed. Very quiet neighbors and most seem to be staying here to work or visit family with the occasional overnighter. Sites are gravel and do require a little bit of side-to-side leveling but not bad. Full hookups with the runs very close by. Shower house looks clean but we didn't use it. Coin laundry attached to the same building as bathrooms. We stayed right in front of it and didn't see much activity. Took our Good Sam card so saved 10% ($60). Overall, a great place to stay if you need access to Evansville for any reason. I could only give 4 stars though and that's for the trains. Not their fault of course but there is a main track very close to the campground with frequent traffic. There are several intersections so they blast their horns numerous times. This can be up to 6 times a night it seems. We got use to it but the first few nights we didn't get much sleep.

Nice campground. Full hookups with 50 amps. Sewer pipe is about 10" high so doesn't drain as easily as it should. Didn't use bathroom but looked in and it was clean but not fancy. Pay-type laundromat in same building as bathrooms. Most sites are back-in but there are about 10-12 pull-throughs. Back-ins have shade but pull-throughs do not. WIFI is good (7 meg) with strong signal when they give you the correct password. Not many nearby restaurants but not too far when driving. Accepted VISA. Good Sam discount available. Pretty close to railroad tracks so loud train horns day and night. I would stay here again.
