Camped one night Friday March 8, 2024 w/o reservations. Nice and clean place, would stay longer next time to enjoy the area.

Stayed one night Friday March 8, 2024, first come first served sites; lots of availability. Electric and water at sites, hot showers, clean bathrooms. Nice campground on a decent looking lake for kayaking and fishing.

Loved this campground. We were there in early March. Had a great spot with water and electric and lake view. There is one hiking/biking trail around the lake and the campground is within 30 minutes of many great things to see and do in the Shawnee National Forest. Spots have good spacing. There is a golden pass discount and we paid $16/night. It is first come first served. No reservations. We would definitely come back here.

Nice stay overall. Well kept even with older facilities but some have been redone.
