Great campground! Beautiful new pool and bathhouse. Sites were plenty big enough and shady. Beautiful park would recommend. One night; 22 ft van .

Beautiful park like setting. When taking a walk, be sure to look for the trees that form an arch. This is our second time staying here. Will definitely stay again when we travel through the area. Owners are very nice.

If u like campgrounds that do not have acres of asphalt, but grass, large shade trees, easily accessible (follow directions), and hosted by owners who r 鈥渟alt of the earth鈥� mid-western, dedicated to making this campground special, give Hickory grove a visit. We spent one night, electric/water site. New bath house and pool coming on line soon. Had over the air TV, cell phone coverage.

This campground was a perfect overnight stop. The hosts were friendly and the camp was peaceful and very well kept up. I will definitely stay here again as I travel to the west.

I needed to write a review on this place because our experience was very different than all the other reviews. The site we had was nice and open. Very quiet. That is why it earned the 2 stars but the lady that worked/owned the place was NOT friendly. We acted put out that she even had to check us in. The bathrooms were HORRIBLE!! Doors broken, toilet was brown. I couldn鈥檛 believe how bad they were and expected to find others but there wasn鈥檛 any. Would not stay here again.

Great little campground. Stayed one night. It was so quiet and clean. Owner was super nice and helpful.

What a beautiful place for an overnight stop! Did not use rest rooms. Sites are level with plenty of room, very nice owners.

Agree with the previous reviews. This is a wonderful campground in the middle of cornfields. We had a pull thru lot with plenty of space between sites. The big plus for us was a fenced dog area we芒鈧�鈩�re our 4 rescues could run off their energy after several days of travel. The campground is well maintained and the staff is friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Tucked away in between cornfields. Very quiet & clean. Had full hookup and pull through. Ate at Red芒鈧�鈩�s Bar & Grill in town- highly recommend. A stop at the Psychedelic Saloon was also fun! Would stay again!

This is a campground, sites are spaced out and have plenty green area with trees. We had a FHU back-in site. Campground surrounded by farmland. About 5 miles from interstate and Sheffield, IL. Recommend Red's Bar and Grill. Close to Ronald Reagan's birthplace. Staff was very friendly, let us pick our site from what was available. No store. Nice place to get away.
