Prefect location for visiting The Gateway Arch. It may seem a bit sketchy when driving to the campground/casino, but the campground is part of the casino parking lot. It’s gated, and patrolled by security, so we felt very comfortable. For easy access to Gateway park, use the Metrolink transit on the other side of the casino parking lot, right next to the river. Be sure to watch the film, it's pretty cool how they built the Arch.

So unlevel showers dirty mainly because of people staying there. But for money not good.

Just a parking lot with a gravel utility pad. My utility pad was nicely decorated with dog turds. Such a rip off. Only stay here if you MUST have easy access to the ballpark. No staff.

Not worth the $70 per night unless you’re towing a vehicle and have business downtown. Towing because I would not walk across even though CC is legal in Missouri !!
Felt safe in the confines of the 8’ chain link fence.
Lot was far from level for our 40’ Super C. Most every bigger MH had at least one wheel off the ground.
There are NO amminities or staff. Like the other reviewers said it’s really an Old asphalt parking lot.

This is basically a parking lot. Large sites are a fully paved parking lot with lines marked out. Smaller sites are very narrow sites with lots of poorly trimmed trees. This is in East St. Louis. Highest per capita violent crime rate in the US. Plan to only arrive in the daylight. We parked our 43' coach here while attending a convention (and stayed in a hotel) in St. Louis. The location is great for St. Louis Arch, downtown sites, ball games, etc. The area outside the park it heavily industrial. There are no attractions, restaurants or anything else nearby. The nearest facilities are across the river in St. Louis. Travel at nigbt is not advised. The campground also has a number of Long Term units. While within the confines of the campground we felt safe and alledgedly security patrols the campground. We would not stay here except for all other campgrounds within 40 miles were booked.

Just an broken asphalt and gravel parking lot surrounded by a chain link fence! No staff that we could find. Situated in an run-down industrial area of East St. Louis. Stopped here for a night on the way through. Thought it would be close to the casino restaurants but couldn’t even see the casino let alone figure out how to get there. Reasonably “white knuckle “ getting to the campground fighting the downtown traffic in a motor home with a tow. Nice place if you like trains!!

Pros: fantastic location. You just walk across the Eads Bridge to the Arch. Full hook up sites are level. Maintenance workers were all very polite and helpful. Arch can be seen from campground.
Cons: Most sites are extremely small. One bathroom was being closed due to renovations. The other bathroom had two toilets, however one was broken. They charged $25 a day for our dog. There was nothing there to justify the cost such as a dog park.

Overall poor. Positives: level sites. Electric works. View of the arch. Negatives: no security. Gate broken bathroom doors with codes propped open. No hot water at all the whole stay. And when I called to ask about the hot water the attendant was snarky saying she wasn’t a supervisor so I will need to call back Monday. Just wow. Also, per our friends who live here staying in this area is not a good idea as it is not a safe neighborhood.

Have overnighted here at least 6 times.
Wish their little store was still open.
Good showere, restrooms and laundry.
Full hookups. Gated. Code sent to you. Easy booking. Bit pricey.
Suggest park near dog walk to be farther from train tracks that get switching activities during the night. Safe parking.
Approach streets may seem a bit seedy…

JAN 2023 We were on way to AZ and stopped here to see relatives. The price was a bit high, however the sites were clean, paved and well cared for. The water was available as the water had heaters plugged in to the site. The clubhouse was clean, but empty likely as we are off season. We would certainly stay here again as it is only 5 minutes from relatives.
