Such a lovely park! Sites are large and level, very quiet, well maintained trail for bikes or walking. Roads to sites are paved, campsites are gravel with fire pits and picnic tables. Nice large beach area that has a large swimming area and equally nice marina at another location. Kayak or pontoon rentals available. There is a 芒鈧搑estaurant 芒鈧 within the park that I芒鈧劉ve been told is good but we did not try. We did spend an afternoon at the beach which requires a $2 per person admission. It was worth it. We had a 27ft TT so were self contained but we did check out the pit toilets and bathhouse for this review. The pit toilets are about what I expected in the heat of the summer. Smelly and buggy. The bathhouse was much better, but looking shopworn and in need of some improvements. (Minus 1star for that) Relatively clean when we visited. There are 17 full hookup sites, all others are electric only. We stayed in Loop 芒鈧揓芒鈧 electric only, sites 11 and 12 which was a bit more secluded and more shady depending on the site. There was plenty of room between our sites to set up a very large screen room. There is no real camp store in the area so if you forget something you芒鈧劉ll be trekking into Clinton or Farmer City to pick up or do without. We forgot coffee creamer:-( We visited the campground office and found the staff to be very helpful with questions regarding the area. Lots of info about other State Parks and Recreation Areas at the office as well. Note: some loops in the campground prohibit alcohol so if this is an issue for you beware when booking your site. Most are closer to the marina and beach with good reason. We stayed with friends mid week in August and had the entire loop to ourselves. Sites fill up quickly on weekends as expected. As this is only 2.5 hours from home I would definitely stay here again and would bring our bikes and kayak and of course coffee creamer :-)

Great park and all sites level. Well spaced and maintained. The only real issue is the showerhouse or lack of them. There is only one per area and a long walk. Which could be an issue for those in need. We travel in a 35 ft RV. Easy in and out of sites
