Stayed 6/5-6/7. Easily accessible off I-55. Some road noise but tolerable. Efficient check in and escort to site. Sites are reasonably sized and spaced. Ours was gravel and level. Water/electric and sewer good with no issues. Showers were clean and laundry was reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and efficient and took the extra steps to post emergency hospital locations as well as where to go in case of a bad storm. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 9/19/20 for one night. It was lovely, the staff was helpful and nice. Everything was clean and very well kept. We will definitely go back. We have a 36 ft class A. The spots are very long and roomy.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the campground.
We have a 30-foot Airstream and a three-quarter ton pickup. Our site was just long enough to accommodate both. There were longer sites.
The site was pull through and level. There were a few sites that you had to back into. But most were pull through and level.
I will start with the positives:
All the staff members were helpful and friendly. It was during the week and the campground was probably 3/4 full. The campground is very well-maintained and tidy. While we did not avail ourselves to the pool, it looked very nice. There was also a playground area that looked nice. What we enjoyed most of all was the wonderful canopy of leaves. There were huge trees that provided plenty of shade. (There was an area toward the back of the campground that didn’t have much shade. We would not have liked being there.)
Cons: The sites were very narrow. More narrow than many places we stay. It worked out OK because fellow campers were quiet and there were not smoky camp fires all around us.
The campground is right off the interstate and that may be a problem for some people. We had the windows open during the day and could hear traffic but it was not bothersome. In the night time we had our air conditioner on so I can’t speak to the traffic noise during the night.
We would definitely stay here again and would encourage others to do so.

Wow! Great CG. 40' MH with full-size tow, no problem. Didn't even unhook. Long, level pull-thru spaces, FHU, sat friendly (must ask for it), very clean & very quiet. Only 6 miles from Lincoln Museum (must see) in Springfield. Loved it!

This campground has 5 star reviews because it deserves them. An overnight stop for us in a 35ft MH and tow. $45 pull thru with FHU. Easy off/on and room to navigate our rig. Pet friendly.

Well, this was a first! Our Airstream and us got thrown out of this CG before we even got a site! These guys are militant, aggressive, authoritarian, dictators, not owners of a customer based business.
DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT EVERY MOVE YOU MAKE SCRUTINIZED AND LIKE TO BE TOLD WHAT TO DO, AND WHEN TO DO IT.
Our crime......coming in without a reservation (with at least 100 empty sites). Woe be unto you if you break this Cardinal Rule.

A VERY nice campground! Large, level pull thru sites. VERY clean. Stayed one night on the way back from Florida. Would stay here again! Easy access from either the exit just north or just south of the campground.

Stayed here one night en route to Chicago. The campground is very clean and organized with trees, picnic tables and fire pits. Lots of pull through gravel sites that are level with all the hookups. The staff are nice and helpful. There is free WiFi and cell service was great.
