Likely the nicest campground in southern Illinois and have stayed here many times over the years. Stayed at site 157 in July 2022 and the voltage would surge on both 50a and 30a to 137v when the surge protector is programmed to shut and reanalyze if greater than 136v. This would happen about every hour. Maintenance did come out and replaced the breaker, but no change. Other than this inconvenience on the AC shutting off for about 3-4 min each time and battery working harder, this was a great site.

One of our favorite places on Rend Lake. Most sites have some slope but its described pretty well in the website. We had good AT&T reception.

Great spot with plenty of space. Clean sites. We will be back!

Nice ACOE campground. First outing for the season, mid April. Everything from full hook up to tent camping. We had a full hookup site in the dogwood loop. We didn’t note any camp
store but Benton IL is only about 10 miles away and has plenty of shopping areas and some restaurants (primarily fast food). We didn’t use the bathrooms or bathhouses. Overall a nice relaxing short trip. Friendly knowledgeable staff. The grounds are well kept up most spots are shaded. Lots of spots with water view and some right next to the lake. We would stay here again.
